Paul Bulcke has been Chair of the Board of Directors of Nestlé S.A. since April 2017. He is Vice Chair of L’Oréal (FR), Chair of the World Economic Forum’s Community of Chairpersons (WEF), member of the European Roundtable for Industry (ERT), the Board of Trustees of Avenir Suisse and J.P. Morgan International Council as well as Co-Chair of the 2030 Water Resources Group. He was previously a Board member of Roche Holding Ltd. (CH).
Professional experience from positions in the food, beverage and hygiene/beauty care industries at Nestlé. Paul has 24 years of senior leadership experience including responsibility for Zone Americas (US, Canada, Latin America and Caribbean), where he played a decisive role in transforming this region into the Group’s largest and most profitable territory. In 2008 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer. At the end of 2016 he handed over the office of CEO and was elected Chair of the Board of Nestlé SA in April 2017.
